About Us:
Kakuru is named after an Australian Dinosaur that lived 120 Million years ago and was related to the Tyrannosaurus Rex. At approximately 2 to 3 meters long it could be thought of as the smaller, Australian, brother of the gigantic T-Rex.

The most significant specimen of the Kakuru was found in the Australian Outback town of Andamooka as opalised fragments. It is believed that the Kakuru was a predator that roamed the Australian outback in search of its prey and frequented favourite hunting spots. As proud Australians, the Kakuru dinosaur captured our imagination as uniquely Australian and, like us, it followed our love of exploring Australia and visiting our own favourite areas.

Kakuru is a group of avid four wheel drivers with backgrounds in the manufacturing, electronics and information technology sectors. We work to make products that are unique, tough and innovative. If you have an idea you would like to explore or would like to resell our products then we would love to hear from you.
